Monica has worked since 2010  as Director of Education for the Wine and Spirits Education Trust in Los Angeles as well as head instructor for the Wine Scholar Guild certifying thousands of wine consumer enthusiasts and sommeliers. She was also the advanced level instructor for The Wine School LATAM , teaching courses in Spanish and English in many countries in Latin America.

Monica is also an expert in organizing private wine tastings for corporations and many other firms both in person and via webinar such as Deloitte US, Stanford Professional Women of Los Angeles, Immigrant Food restaurants, Satellite Wine Bar Santa Barbara, Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District PTA, Patron-Bacardi, and many others.

As a professional Wine and Olive Oil Judge, Monica has worked for the International Los Angeles Wine Competition , the California State Fair Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, as well as the Los Angeles International EVOO competition.
