In this 2-day course (December 14 and January 11 ), you will be able to taste the latest 34 wines released of all the member wineries for the second time in the USA. Some of these wines are only available in Spain for the moment, and this will be the first time for you to taste the complete line-up that forms this incredible high quality wine association. A complete digital guide with information about all the wineries and wines to be tasted will be sent to each attendee before 12/12.

The Terroir Workshop by Grandes Pagos de España is a global education program that aims to present terroir culture on a whole new level.  The two sessions will cover the eight wine regions of Spain:

(Session 1) Green Spain, Meseta North, Ebro River Valley (Ribera del Duero and Rueda), this session will end up with a glass of Gramona Corpinat Sparkling wine to celebrate the upcoming Holiday Season!

(Session 2) Rioja, Mediterranean Coast, Meseta Central, Sherry/Andalucia and the Islands. This session will conclude with a tasting of traditional new year’s Spanish cake: Roscon de Reyes, specially made for this class.

Each class will include guided instruction to encompass the impact of history, culture, geography, climate and people on terroir. Students will get comprehensive profiles of GPE wineries to guide their immersion into Spanish Pagos and terroir culture.

The two sessions will be held in person and will include a combination of dynamic presentations and tastings to reinforce learning. Tasting of a total of 34 wines will be a critical component, and as part of the exclusive curriculum, students will taste a wide selection of wines from all 34 GPE member wineries. Those students that attend both sessions, can take an optional exam to receive a Certificate of Achievement.
